We transformed this longtime family home in Needham through a full renovation that reimagined its layout, functionality and overall character. The project included relocating the formal sitting and dining rooms and introducing a new kitchen, mudroom, powder room and laundry room on the first floor, along with updated bedrooms, bathrooms and a refreshed office on the second floor. New furnishings throughout complete a unified and contemporary redesign for a home that has been in the family for more than thirty years.

The kitchen was a major focus of the transformation. Its footprint was expanded and reconfigured to support modern living, with a double sided storage island, full height pantries, a dedicated coffee bar and customized oak cabinetry. A blue island grounds the room with colour and contrast, while integrated appliances and extensive hidden storage create a calm and streamlined environment that supports everyday life and frequent entertaining.

Across the home, thoughtful reconfiguration improved circulation and clarity. Bathrooms were redesigned with timeless finishes and enhanced layouts, and the new laundry and mudroom bring order and functionality to daily routines. Wallpapers were introduced in key spaces throughout the house, adding subtle texture and visual interest while anchoring the updated palette.

The completed renovation retains the familiarity of a well loved home while delivering meaningful modernisation. It is now a cohesive, comfortable and enduring residence ready for the next generation of family life.
